Children of Bodom este un grup de metal finlandez cu inspirații īn power metal, metal neo-clasic și metal extrem. Grupul a fost adeseori clasificat īn death metal melodic, īnsă stilul lor nu prezintă mai multe afinități cu acest gen decāt cu alte genuri de heavy metal. Children of Bodom este o trupa de heavy metal din Espoo, Finlanda, formata in 1993. Trupa este constituita din chitaristul si vocalistul Alexi Laiho, Roope Latvala (chitara ritmica), Janne Wirman (clape), Henkka Seppalä (bas) si Jaska Raatikainen (tobe). Children of Bodom au realizat sase albume studio, doua albume live, doua EP-uri si un DVD. Trupa este un amestec intre mai multe stiluri de muzica: Death metal melodic, Black metal, Progressive metal si Thrash metal.
